1. Who provides Nova

AssetPool Nova is provided by AssetPool Inc. (Canada), except where your account is registered in South Africa, in which case it is provided by AssetPool (Pty) Ltd under licence from AssetPool Inc.

For South African accounts, AssetPool (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party and appoints AssetPool Inc. as its operator to host, run and support the platform. The providers below are engaged by AssetPool Inc. and act as its sub-operators.

Where a provider applies only to some accounts, the table says so.

Every provider above is engaged under written terms that require it to act only on our instructions, to protect the information it handles, to restrict who inside its organisation can access it, and not to use it for any purpose of its own.

We assess a provider's security and data protection position before engaging it, and we do not give any provider more access than it needs to do the job described above.

Where engaging a provider results in personal information being transferred between countries, we put appropriate safeguards in place. Section 7 of our Privacy Notice explains which safeguards apply to you.

4. When this list changes

We will give you notice before we add or replace a provider that handles account content, so that you have the opportunity to raise any objection before the change takes effect.

We will publish the updated list here with a new version number and effective date, and record the change in the version history at assetpool.com/legal. We keep superseded versions and will provide them on request.

Providers that handle only website and marketing information, and not account content, may change without individual notice, but the list here will always reflect who they are.

5. Where your data is held, and the one thing worth explaining

Your account and everything in it are stored and processed only in your account's region, and nothing is copied to the other region. That is set out in clause 5 of your subscription agreement and section 5 of our Privacy Notice.

One provider above handles information that is not account content.

Crash and diagnostic data. When the application or a mobile app encounters an error, a report containing technical information and an installation identifier goes to our error monitoring provider. It does not contain your inspection records, photographs or asset data. The table says where that provider operates.
